India has taken strong diplomatic measures against Pakistan following a terror attack in Pahalgam. The Wagah-Atari border has been closed, Pakistani nationals with Indian visas must leave by May 1st, and embassies in both countries will be downsized. The Indus Water Treaty has been annulled, and Pakistani Army advisers have been declared persona non grata. The Foreign Secretary emphasized that these steps are a response to cross-border terrorism sponsored by Pakistan.
